This evening I attended the residents association meeting at Katesgrove Community Centre - to float the idea of the BMX club, launch and the potentially contentious siting of a container on the meadows.Well, the idea was received very positively and it was a unanimous "YES!" They were delighted to have some money to spend on the youths and adults living in the area.
I am SO pleased and will now forge ahead with the project of setting up the Club and the discovery/health rides. If anyone out there fancies leading some rides along the Kennet & Avon tow path - do drop me a line?
